Helga Isager

Since 2005, designer Helga Isager and her brand Amimono have pioneered innovation in knitting as a craft and as a fashion phenomenon. Whether it’s the play of colours, the relation between the lightness and weight of the yarns or the use of traditional techniques in new ways, every knitted project is part of the designer,s curious investigation into the endless possibilities hidden in a ball of yarn and a set of needles.

Helga’s designs are sold all over the world, and patterns are available with a wide range of yarns from Danish brand Isager. Apart from running her own brand, Helga Isager is the author of numerous knitting pattern books including the book ‘Stitches’ and the book ‘Knit’.
